The scene of this pair of paintings is the Ria Formosa Natural Park, one of the most beautiful natural wealths of the Algarve, a natural paradise spreading along 60 km of coastline in southern Portugal. Apart from being an artist's delight, it is also a shelter for migratory birds, and offers an abundance of oysters and mussels.
The bright colors of Cabanas I and II are beautiful in contemporary interiors, and work particularly well with clean lines and natural light. They are the perfect complement to a beige color scheme wanting character. Each image stands on its own, or they make a wonderful set of companion pieces. Canvas reproductions of these paintings are available as a gallery wrap, or in a black wood frame, sizes listed at right.
