Built in the 1860s, this abandoned Kansas barn is full of history. A marker on the property shows where the Sante Fe Trail passed by, making this a sure stop along the way for weary travelers. Standing on the property with the wind rustling the prairie grasses behind me, I could almost smell biscuits baking in the Dutch Oven of the tiny outdoor kitchen attached.
