Uncommon Prints is proud to represent seven works by Courtland Blade. This series of paintings captures specific moments of isolation within airports, supermarkets, new housing developments, subways, and hotels. They exhibit the presence of modernity, and the absence of humanity during periods when commercial activity has ceased and places are now vacant.
This series is exemplary for contemporary home decorating. The composition of each image has an interesting geometry for a seemingly random scene. The color palettes are neutrals of warm beige and cool grays with pops of bright color to match and enliven any room in the house. Each stands on its own, or they make a wonderful set of companion pieces, in both color and theme.
Canvas reproductions of these paintings are available as a gallery wrap, or in a black wood frame. Prints available in both rectangular and square aspects, sizes listed at right.
